Welcome

The Vistoso Cyclists Bicycling Club is a chartered Sun City Oro Valley club with membership in excess of 250 people. The Club started over 30 years ago and quickly became a premier cycling club for Sun City Oro Valley residents.

Our rides are destination-based, and we ride to over 35 local cafes on a regular basis. Ride lengths range from 12 to 60 miles, utilizing both multi-use pathways and streets. There could be half a dozen route possibilities for a single destination, and routes are changed up for variety. There are also longer ride options and travel destination rides to explore scenic areas in the Tucson vicinity. For more information about our rides and our Ride Groups click here.

SCOV residents/renters can “try out” the Club for up to 2 weeks before joining.

Great group out to celebrate our charitable gifts to the food pantry

Big thanks to the Sun City Vistoso Community Foundation for their donation of $1,000 during our fundraising effort!

We encourage and welcome all levels of riders, and our cafe stops en route are great opportunities for relaxation and camaraderie. Our website has an outstanding member only side, which features our ride schedules, example routes, member classifieds and more.

Rides occur year round, and morning start times vary by the month. Most rides take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with Tuesday and Friday ride days for the Club’s Women on Wheels (WOW) group. WOW rides typically span from 12 to 50 miles.

In addition to cycling, the Club hosts social events and supports three outstanding local causes: El Grupo, Wheels for Kids, and the Interfaith Community Services (ICS) Food Bank.

The annual fee to be a member of this club is $15. If you are a SCOV resident or renter and would like more information about joining the club, click here.

As Mr. Tom McKinney with the Food Bank explained to us at our recent Social, there is a heightened need at the Food Bank.  As everyone knows, our dollars are really stretched, especially when it comes to buying groceries.  The upcoming holidays make it even rougher for those in need.  Please consider making a generous donation.
